Commissioned by Wetherspoons as an artwork to be hung in the main entrance of the ‘Packet Station’ pub. The brief was to explore the local Oyster fishing heritage in Falmouth. Through research I discovered the Falmouth Bay Oysters. A food source locally for centuries and even now they are still dredged under sail being hand hauled from the natural oyster beds. Ink illustration on handmade rag paper. 100 cm x 70 cm
