‘Herbie’ The Dalmation, was a fabulous Dog Portrait commissioned privately. I worked from my own photographs on this particular one. Which I find is always an asset when trying to compose a well balanced Portrait. Using a slightly tinted pale grey paper was a really useful background for making the white fur stand out without dulling any of the bright tones.
